Immages Studio

Lynn and Pat Murphy bring two distinct creative perspectives together at Immages Studio. Lynn creates altered photographic images that blur the boundaries between photography and painting. Currently pursuing a PhD in Art History with a dissertation focused on Renoir, she draws inspiration from Impressionism to create expressive, painterly images shaped by color, light and atmosphere. Pat is a fine art photographer drawn to the beauty and changing character of the natural landscape. Through careful composition, light and timing, he captures sweeping environments, subtle textures and moments that encourage viewers to slow down and look more closely. Their work is primarily presented as striking metal and acrylic prints, which enhance the photographs’ color, depth and luminosity. Larger pieces range from approximately $250 to $600, with smaller works available from $25 to $100. During their first year on the Southern Hands Artist Studio Tour, visitors can meet both artists and experience two very different approaches to fine art photography in one studio.
