Andrea Faye, Studio B

Andrea Faye’s journey with clay began in 2000 with a six-week pottery course—and quickly grew into a lasting creative passion. Although she developed her skills on the pottery wheel, Andrea found greater freedom in handbuilding, exploring a wider range of forms, textures, and artistic expression.

Today, Andrea creates expressive ceramic works ranging from functional pottery to imaginative sculpture, using electric firing and the unpredictable beauty of Raku. This dramatic firing process produces remarkable colors and surface effects, making every finished piece truly one of a kind. 

Andrea works and teaches from her backyard studio, affectionately known as Studio B, in Peachtree City. As the founder of the Southern Hands Artist Studio Tour, she has participated every year since its beginning in 2012.

During the Tour, visitors can try their hands at the pottery wheel and experience how a simple lump of clay begins its transformation. Joining Andrea at Studio B is guest artist Andi Azuz, a pet portraitist who captures beloved animal companions in realistic oil paintings. Browse her portraits and watch as she demonstrates the techniques she uses to bring fur, personality, and expression to life on canvas.

Visitors can also enjoy a display of Charles Tryon’s latest sculptural figurines. A familiar participant in the Tour, Charles will be away on a mission trip with his church this year, but his work will still be part of the Andrea Faye Studio experience.
