Andrea Faye, Studio B

Andrea Faye’s journey with clay began in 2000 with a six-week pottery course—and quickly grew into a lasting creative passion. Although she developed her skills on the pottery wheel, Andrea found greater freedom in handbuilding, where she could explore a wider range of forms, textures and artistic expression. Today, Andrea creates expressive ceramic works ranging from functional pottery to imaginative sculpture, using electric firing and the unpredictable beauty of Raku. This dramatic firing process produces remarkable colors and surface effects, making every finished piece truly one of a kind. Andrea works and teaches from her backyard studio aka Studio B, in Peachtree City. She is also the founder of the Southern Hands Artist Studio Tour and has participated every year since its beginning in 2012. Visitors have the special opportunity to meet one of the driving forces behind the Tour while exploring the studio where her distinctive ceramic pieces come to life.
