Saturday only - 9:00 - 5:00

Known for making artistic jewelry, Helena Marette uses sterling silver and semi-precious stones to create unique fine art jewelry. All jewelry is original. No pre-fabricated components are ever used. All bezels, clasps, pendants and charms are handcrafted from high-quality silver sheets. Each piece is pierced, sawed, sanded and polished individually in her Peachtree City studio.

Helena's felted artwork was published in Candie Cooper’s book: Felted Jewelry - released by Lark Books in Spring 2007.  She has also been featured in magazines and periodicals --- Her artwork is currently available at boutiques in Georgia.  

 

For over 15 years, Helena has participated in art shows, art galleries and online stores where she sells her creations. She actively teaches mixed media to school children in her studio and conducts workshops for adults on basket weaving, rigid heddle weaving, and punch needle at The Funky Shack Mercantile & Flower Market in Tyrone, Georgia.

During the tour

Helena will demonstrate how to add texture to metal using chasing tools and a rolling mill and will answer any questions about the metalsmithing techniques applied in her art.
