Andrea Faye
Clay & Jewelry Artist

Studio Hours

Saturday 9:00 - 5:00

Sunday 11:00 - 5:00

Andrea began working with clay over 20 years ago by taking a six week pottery course through the Fayette County Parks and Recreation department.  Little did she know that this weekly retreat from family and responsibilities would become a passion!

Andrea continued to attend these recreation classes for several years and developed her skills on the pottery wheel.  However, she really enjoyed handbuilding with clay which, she believed, allowed for a greater range of artistic expression.

Through the past 20 years Andrea has continued her education in clay by attending workshops taught by such great clay artists as:  Curtis Benzel, the late Robin Harper, Chris Grydner, Gerit Grimm, Shadow May and Bill Van Guilder.

Statement pieces are her joy.  When you visit her studio, you will see very few pieces repeated.  Often similar but not repeated.  Each piece is a one of a kind.

With the help of fellow artisans aka friends, Andrea established this Tour in 2013 which featured 10 artists and 9 studios. Boy has it grown!

Andrea has designed and created fun and fine jewelry.  Earrings, necklaces and bracelets are ready for you to try on, take home or purchase for gifts.  Most jewelry is non-allergenic nickle free.
Fine jewelry is .925 sterling with semi or precious stone settings.
Essential oil necklaces and bracelets are also available.

  • Personal and self guided tours will be provided to everyone interested.

  • Andrea will be serving up drinks and refreshments.  Have a snack,  water or a soft drink and some conversation.

  • Studio mates' work, will be on display and available for sale.

  • Functional and "display only" ceramic art will be available for purchase in the studio and under the tent.

  • We are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting those of you new to the tour!

Gwen Brown - Portratist

Georgia artist turning special moments into lasting heirlooms.

Gwen is an oil painter inspired by family, nature, and the beauty of everyday moments. A lifelong southerner and graduate of Clayton State University’s Fine Arts program, she has explored a wide range of creative mediums, but always returns to her first love—painting.

Her work focuses on portraiture and still life, celebrating children, family, and the natural world. Based in the woods of Georgia, Gwen shares her life with her husband, four children, and a rotating number of cats. She accepts commissions and especially enjoys turning special family photographs into lasting heirlooms.

She is a member of the Fayette Art Society, where she currently serves as President.
