Alana Wicker
Scrap Metal Artist
Studio Hours
Saturday 9:00 - 5:00
Sunday 11:00 - 5:00
Alana Wicker is a scrap metal artist from Hogansville, GA located about 45 minutes south of Atlanta, GA. She creates most over her work from recycled street signs and scrap metal. She desires to create an escape from the mundane and inspire her viewers to take a chance to bring a bit of magic to life. She integrates originality and a bit of whimsy into each sculpture as it mimics the natural beauty around it.
She currently works full time at Weiler Forestry as a welder and robot technician that specializes in building logging equipment. She has been there for 7 years honing her skills, learning from her leaders, and has grown to love the heat.
In 2024, Alana was selected to be a part of the Atlanta Beltline Business Ventures: Artists Edition program over the summer. This program brings together a diverse group of fellow artists to work together and learn how to make Requests for Proposals (RFP) in order for them to bring large scale art to life.
