Helena Marette - Metalsmith jewlery artist & textile artist
Helena Marette is known for making artistic high-quality jewelry derived from sterling silver, copper, precious and semi-precious stones. Every component is forged by hand and when necessary stones are cut and polish in her Peachtree City studio, where birds, squirrels and deer gather frequently.
"I hope my jewelry evokes the wonders of nature and helps bring out the bohemian spirit in those who wear it."
To broaden her vision as an artist, Helena also creates felted pieces, weavings, coiled baskets and watercolor paintings.
For over 15 years, Helena has participated in art shows, art galleries and online stores where she sells her creations. She actively teaches mixed media to school children, ages 7 to teens and conducts ongoing workshops for adults on felt making and textiles.
Helena’s work has been published in “Felted Jewelry”, a Lark Book, “Traditional Home” magazine and several other periodicals.
